On February 16th 2023, IMPA students gathered in assembly approved two open letters about the situation of postgraduate students in Brazil and, more specifically, at IMPA. See the two letters (in portuguese) below:

Preliminary results of the socioeconomic questionnaire

At the end of 2022, the APG-IMPA Board of Directors applied a questionnaire to collect data on the socioeconomic situation of IMPA graduate students. We analyzed the data and generated graphs that show some of this scenario, which can be viewed here.
